No, no Windows versions are Unix based...and I am glad it's not!
...if Windows move over to Unix, you will start finding viruses in Mac and Linux as it is in Windows today!

It's true, I would recommend you to use Linux Mint which is a "out of the box" version of Ubuntu. PCLinuxOS still have a lot to do to become user-friendly

I have tried PCLinuxOS but installation new programs is very difficult. Or im too stupid to figure it out? |
