I agree mostly. Some religions, like buddhism, are almost in agreement with the recent discoveries in the field of Quantum Physics. Others, like some Judeo-Christian religions, are condemning promising research in the field of stem cells. So if you want the betterment of mankind, you have to pick your religion carefully. Although overall, scientific discoveries are made outside of religious dogma.

But I believe true religion must walk hand in hand with science...cos' religion goals are (I think) the betterment of mankind and its relationship with nature.

Great instrument for mankind to better understand the universe.

Not too long ago, Christians believed that the earth was flat and burned at the stake anyone who disagreed. Religion has, and always will, slow down science.

I kind of agree with you on the fact everyone has there own views and think what they want to think. But yes there is evidence of the big bang. And erm technically arent you agruing over religion... technically!! Yes it is a waste of time, but for some people they like to discuss they views and what others think.

No, about everything. Morality even more so than space and every other field of science. We know now that the majority of the garbage presented in various religious doctrines are abominations in terms for morality. Religion is wrong about everything.

Science is right, religious is wrong... about space!
