Electronic music is all about sampling, and drum machines. Not some sappy love song. Listen how many tracks are over layed down on this tune. Double bass line, Drums, high hats, vocals, and synthesized melody's. Quite a bit of work. Sorry if it's not a cute love song. And to answer you question: Sampling came out in the late 70's so 30 years/ish?
