Ridge turns off the ventilator keeping Eric breathing

Ridge then starts to hear Eric's voice in his head again, his pleas for Ridge to let him go alternating with memories of all the times Ridge spent by Eric's side at Forrester Creations over the years. As Ridge relives those times in his head, he continues to hear Eric pleading, "Let me go." In agony over his choice, Ridge reaches over and turns off the ventilator keeping Eric breathing as he says, "Good-bye, Dad."
