Is the fucking Punisher series cursed or something?, seriously the damn movie NEVER gets a sequel or anything, it's always made into "one film" then rebooted over and over. Dolph was kick ass, then couple years later we all liked Tom Jane as Punisher, now it's Ray Stevenson!. shit Marvel, get your fucking act together!.

i really want to know if this is good or bad; ive heard so many arguments over this vs. 2004's film, (which i loved, and i'm hoping WZ is that much better. i'm a huge punisher fan especially of the comics.) anyways, i heard that this doesnt have his origina nor an actuall plot and it's just a action/gorefest. if that the case i dont think i'd like it. i read punisher for the story of it all besides the action.

Tony Scott would get THE PUNISHER. His MAN ON FIRE movie shows he can make a good vigillante movie and that is the exact nature of Frank Castle.

Can't someone just make a worthwhile Punisher movie? He deserves it. Personally, I think it should be done like "Man on Fire;" realistic, you know (albeit without the Tony Scott quick and dizzy cutting). Oh well. At least the new movie "War Zone" has Jigsaw and an actor that mildly resembles the comic book Frank Castle.

I really need to see this one again. Haven't seen it since I was a kid. There are elements of the Jane flick I like, but it wasn't perfect. War Zone left me lukewarm until I saw the red band trailer, which makes it look low-budget and brutal in a '70s grindhouse kind of way, so it could be awesome yet.
