Lovesleepplay, it is called samba outside brazil. I think the worldchampionships is broadcasted on german TV WDR on nov 22 23.00 CET. Watch Joanna Leunis from your country. She will either end first or second.

it is 100% samba, millions of people dance this style and it is called international samba. People compete in this style all over the world professionally. Just because your latin doesn't mean you're automatically familiar with this type of dancing, there are variants of samba but this is certainly the common familiar international (worldwide) style.
