the new zr1 hold the second fastes nurburgren lap record (the name of the track is speled wrong do not complane^^) any way only the viper acr is faster because the driver of the viper is 30 kilograms lighter than the one used in the corvette

@thebestman. First of all, that twin turbo Z06 was a C5 corvette. So its a completely different car. Second this car has drag radials. Look at the trap speeds.. the TT Z06 traps at like 130mph, where this traps at 127mph, which means that the TT with more power is actually faster but this Z06 with the drag radials got a better launch. So it makes PERFECT sense buddy

The Z06 is the best value on the market, even if the GTR is maybe faster on a track, it would be very closed. I've seen a Z06 smoking a 997 GT3 on a track, a half second faster ! So it works very good...

Bestman, what is a TT Z06? A twin turbo Z06? like a Lingenfelter? If so they can pull 9s in a quarter mile. Hell the C5 Z06 can pull a 11.7 stock. The best Porsches are RWD, F1 cars are RWD, BMWs are RWD the list goes on. All the GTR is a 3.5L bored out and 2 screws hooked into AWD, automatic not that impressive, it takes no skill to drive a GTR. Get your facts strait

And generally a stock Z06 with a good launch does 11.5 at the 1/4 mile, the best for the GTR with 520 Hp, launch control and 4WD, is 11.6...
