Two scholars who created a controversy earlier this year when they wrote that the pro-Israel lobby exerted too much influence over U.S. foreign policy said Monday that the recent Israel-Hezbollah war in Lebanon was yet another example of what they view as a dangerous tendency. John Mearsheimer, a University of Chicago political science professor, and Stephen Walt, a professor of international relations at Harvard University's Kennedy School, said the U.S. government's unstinting support for Israel's recent war in Lebanon once again placed the agenda of what they call the Israel lobby ahead of U.S. strategic interests.

Nobody gives aid to Israel. The money given to Israel is gained through extortion and fraud. Period

The reason for the air attack on Lebanon. To enormously punish Lebanon, the citizens and destroy infrastructure...and to do all this way out of proportion and risk very few Israeli lives.

Up to the early 1900's, Jews had been ejected from almost every country in which they settled. Every society has rejected Jews for their own reasons usually citing that they were disruptive of the host society. The one country that opened their borders to all peoples has become owned or controlled in many ways by Jewish interests. In 60 yrs. with their own focus AND American unyielding support, now Israel is a major military (nuclear) power in the world. Once again disruptive, but worldwide.

So just because there are people who claim to be muslim killing people in Darfur, killing other muslims in fact, we should sit back idly while Isreal attacks, murders, occupies and oppresses it's neighbors? You can go fuck yourself.

Saudi Arabia is still the Strongest Ally of the United States. United States Supports a Tyrrant, sells $20 billion in Weapons to a country that Oppresses its people, NO free Elections, no Freedom of Speech, almost no Women's rights. Its corporate wars thats happening. As long as Saudi Arabia bends over for Oil Companies, there are no problems. Its just Idiots like yourself that actually believe there a war on terror. Saddam Hussein was not a problem until he turned against the US.

Israel tried to block the book from ever being published but failed. Author: Victor Ostrovsky Publisher: Stoddart Publishing Company Title: "By Way of Deception: A Devastating Insider's Portrait of the Mossad" Written by a former Jewish Mossad agent, a guy deeply involved and wanted dead by Israel. There has been Anti-Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault? They see but one thing: we have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?" -- Quoted by Nahum Goldmann
