i lost my dad when i was 8 now im 46 it still hurts i lost him so younghe was 55 years but i love this old sond dad was a big c&w fan had all the old stuff i think he still live in me becaus of the love i have for the same thing love your dad while you have him he will leave some day and tell him you do all the time you know we dads are realy soft harted and need to hear it to just my thoughs

I have always loved this song I found out a while ago that my daddy has Lung Cancer and the other day I found out that maybe he is in remission of it.I do hope so.When I think about my daddy I think of this song.

I can hardyly stop the tear in my eyes each time I hear and remember. I am 40 now and my dad is a fine tender hearted man and he is sick now and losing him im knowing the line would never stop paying respect to the greatest dad ever and I love him so much that no man can do. No one can over give my dad
