schluter does make the best products but most people will not use it when they find out how mutch it costs. sorry schluter.

This is a fab product. You don't have to use the rondec products if you don't want too....for a home DIY, it makes for really clean edge when you have cuts. Underfloor heating mats work great with this product. I am female and a home DIY'r...I love this product.

purchase drains through stine lumber and the profiles do not have to be used. only thinset, kerdi, and the shower drain

ok 3rd time trying to post. BPI sells to retailers and Stine Lumber in LA sells to shoppers No, you do not need to use the profiles they are cheaper and quicker to make than bullnoses,etc. you need kerdi,thinset, and the shower drain

You can purchase the drains from BPI if your a retailier. The profiles do not need to be used. you MUST have the drain, the kerdi, and UNmodified thinset |
