we have quarters with significant gypsy population (especially in districts VIII. and IX.), but yet they're minorities there too. to tell you the truth, i'm not a shovinist at all, most of the time i was only testing you (right wing radical romanian viewpoints). :) i could infer that truth about the past (hungary, romania, transylvania) is somewhat in the middle. it will be useful for my paper.

Do you have in Budapest quarters of gypsies? Bucharest cab become prettier than Budapest after we'll finish the capital repairs of the historical center.And some passages which will fix the traffic problems.And Bucharest is a living city,the capital of a big country so it has a great future,that's what I'm talking about.

Yea there is a gypsy quarter in Bucharest.The gypsies are almost all criminals,but you already knew it.

most of buda and pest vanished in 1526, in 1686, in 1848 and bp was bombed to ground in 1944. and of course, the commie regime had its part in the destruction too. i remember it was in the news a few years ago citizens of bukarest strived to segregate the romas with a fence to hinder further crimes...anyway, i hope bucharest will thrive and become a precious segment of europa. but how will it ever become prettier than bp? nohow. anyway, farewell.

An still Bucharest-The Little Paris is a very beautiful city.And it just started to cicatrize its wounds.Just wait some years. About Transylvania is worthless to talk.Keep believing your fairy tales.And there are very nice cities in the rest of Romania as well.

Bucharest was ruined way more times than Budapest you ignorant.Last time by an earthquake in '77 and by Ceausescu to build his palace.

have you ever been to budapest? it was ruined many times in history but it's still one of the most fascinating captials, bukarest cannot and will never be compared to it. if i wanted to resort nice cities in romania, i'd only visit Erdely, where romanians were minority in all significant towns and cities. the monuments that tourists are interested in, usually either have hungarian or german origin. neverhteless, i'd definately like to check out the duna delta and csangofold sometime as well.

And what's so freakin' special about Budapest? Bucharest is a beautiful city and in some years it'll be more beautiful than Budapest.
