He told the joke well, but considering how enormous the universe is, what's so unbelievable about a planet formed by chance through a random process of organization that can support life?

The original pledge written by a minister: 'I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.'

Thank you for allowing me to bring into view this hidden subconscious gun explanation about the US flag. Of course a gun is not what the US flag stands for. The US flag also looks like many other things other than a gun, as for an example the US flag also looks like the SUN ( a star ) with its rays of sunshine energy that give life to this earth ( and maybe this similarity of the US flag is what the founding fathers had originally intended as the hopeful meaning within the US flag's symbols ).

Here is an explanation of how the US flag and a working gun are very similar. As one end of the gun barrel is open, the light COLOR inside the barrel is white when reloading and at rest, and a red stripe when fired. The gun's firing mechanism is an enclosed dark space when reloading and at rest, and the gun's firing mechanism COLOR is white sparks when the gun is fired. These sparks ignite the red fire from the gun powder. Both the firing mechanism and flag stars are located in an upper corner.

Jesus and his Apostles never said anything against slavery. Were they being careful to not rock the boat? Speaking-out might get you crucified. Or were they men of their times who saw slavery as a natural and moral state of affairs? Either way, my point is still valid: richpraytor is incorrect or lying when he says that slavery was abolished because of "biblical principles". Jesus and his disciples never condemn slavery. Did they want to? Maybe. But slavery was ended DESPITE the bible.

Secularist do try to replace God. Why do you think socialist Bellamy wrote the Pledge of Allegiance. Under God was added by congress in 54 to make it acceptable to the religious majority. I'm not claiming the right of the government to speak in matters of faith. That is the last thing I want. I want my right to live as I see fit and that is being attacked. The scum of the earth are ignorant losers who spend all their time waiting to see if somone has replied to their comments on youtube.

Jefferson, also, was not even a participant in the Constitutioanl Convention and for good reason. He was not trusted with such matters by his compatriots. To them he wrote nice sounding phrases but was full of nutty ideas. That you can point out a few nonbelievers among the founders proves nothing. I pointed out a couple myself. The truth is that the most prominent and influencial were deeply commited Christians who saw their war as an act of faith as much as a political act.

First I would like to know what the Treaty of Tripoli is. Jefferson was not the premier of the founders in spite of what all the libs want us to believe. Most of his bretheren feared the idea of him ever being President. Once President he defied most of the extreme statements he made. He also as governor of VA signed into law a bill that established a salary from the state for minister, I do belive of the Episcopal church and likened the new US to the Israelites crossing the desert.

Paul told the slaves to be obedient to their masters. He was teaching humility to people who had no chance of changing their circumstances. He wrote this within two hundred years of the rebellion led by Spartacus. Afterwards the virtually all the surviving slave rebels were crucified. It is said that their hanging bodies lined the complete length of the Appian way.

Rich: you said: "most of our nation's forefathers were ordained ministers". Yet only 4 of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence were "ministers". Slavery was abolished in SPITE of "biblical principles". Jesus instructed slaves to be obedient to their masters.
