The PaintPots are good as liners, but not as good as fluidlines. They are not so high pigmented. BLACKGROUND ist OK, because it´s black, but I prefet f/l definitaly. But they are the better bases in the end. Much more smooth and creamy and they dry not so fast and so "hard" like f/l, so the eye shadows stick better to them.
I also like to apply it with 224, 194 and so on, but here the edge is smoother and it was only to show THAT it´s possiblwe with such a large, fluffy brush ;-)

I myself use it as an eyeliner with the 209 brush. I love it. I havent tried fluidline yet, or stila smudge pot, so i'm not sure how it compares, but i love it. =]

Thanks! I've already experimented with a few different colors. I like it with blue!

Hi,
oh, I already replied, but the answer is away :-(
However, I think BG is the PaintPot with best texture. It´s great as base and also as a final eye shadow. I have used it for both.
As a base it doesn´t only make the shadows darker - it makes them much brighter and kind of 3-D look, if they are frosty. Gorgeous.

I just got Blackground as a freebie...not sure what to do with it...do you use it as a base for ordinary colors to make them darker? |
