The Abrams Tanks that have been lost have been from hundreds of pounds of High explosives planted under the sand so when a Tank drives over it blows up. NOW That would take out any-tank U.S.Or British Tanks, But I guess if the British would have hung around and done some urban fighting they would have seine some of there own losses LOL

OK FletchRDG! I can give you the benefit that the British-Tank Challenger 2 is a good tank! BUT! Just so you now the Abrams losses has been do to urban war far, NOT From enemy Tanks.

Abrams, in terms of technology is very good seen as though its been upgraded about 5 times since it has been in service. But numbers arent everything, it is the heaviest (its even in the guiness book of world records ) thus slower then most tanks now on the battlefield, its gun is probably older then most on the field.

i think that the Leopard 2 is probably the best well balanced tank on the battlefield but the main problem is it hasnt been baptised in fire yet. As a Brit the Challenger 2 (my fav), with low numbers is probably better the the abrams interms that it hasnt had a single lose

well like every new thing thats built it is kept a close secret untill you see the end product. like every factroy worker your just given dimensions and build whats required, really you arent gonna ask questions if your getting paid for it lol
