Dude....i love ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA!!!! Favorite Band, and the reason why i want to buy a moog, or voyager, is because of that distinct sound in ELO, and i found out that it's the moog.

The OS is exactly the same as the Voyager except from midi,touchpanel and presets.

what do you think about the mini moog old school ?? i value your opinion after watching this ..i feel the same way about the voyager but have never tryed the os

One thing that Moog is not often enough commended for is the fact that their original products haven't really changed since the beginning. A minimoog today isn't far off from an original.

It depends on your mindset, and what you seek in the device. In many ways the Voyager is an "improvement" over the Minimoog. However, the quality of the oscillators and filters of the Minimoog are not effectively duplicated by the Voyager. The Voyager is a fantastic synth, and probably among the best, but it doesn't have the character of the Minimoog. And, that character isn't just pitch inconsistency! |
