you can't blame the people. most of them are psychologically immature and are not aafforded the time and space to reach maturitiy. by the time they're 25, they have a child and are bombarded with media showing every other child living in a nice neighbourhood, having nice things...only a mature parent can stand up to all that, and keep the family within their financial means. AND THE BANKS KNOW THIS. you can never prove it, of course, but what do you think they learn in business school?

Sullivan is an idiot. Yes, this does validate Chomsky and no it does not validate Ron Paul. He's talking out of both sides of his mouth; one the one hand he wants "true capitalism" (free market without restraints) and on the other he wants the government to regulate trade. The answer to the current crisis is not to deregulate further but to actually seek alternatives to greed as a universal stimulus. Also, "free trade" is an ideology. Don't put your theories forth as absolute truth, dingus!
