Hydrogen fuel cells require nuclear power. Nuclear is the only high yield technology we have to date. If you want to split water or hydrocarbons to hydrogen and oxygen/carbon, you need electricity. If you get the electricity from coal (as most of North America does), hydrogen fuel cells do nothing for us.

global warming is not fake. the earth goes through, although somewhat irregular, warming and cooling cycles. anthropogenic global warming is blown way out of proportion, i will agree with you on that.
i think some of the candidates need to take a chemistry class. even if you burn ethanol, which is a hydrocarbon, you still emit carbon dioxide. if you really want to go green, use hydrogen fuel cells or solar power.
