"With 5 or more cops standing around him holding him down and cuffed there was absolutely no reason to tase him" He was not cuffed. That is why they tazed him. He had an arm loose (you can see him cluthing onto a chair and they are trying to pry his arm loose). They can use more physical force (like rack his ribs or hurt his arm), but that is why they used the taser. When he's being zappedd he can't fight, and the officers easily adn immediately brought his free arm behind his back.

Then, by the time they finally decided to take him down, getting him cuffed THEN taking him out was the game plan. He was shouting hysterically anyway and wouldn't stop (he did it for a minute straight and had done it earlier). A few more screams, then carrying him out was better than just letting him run loose.

If he waited in line like the others, and asked a question to Kerry and was stopped because his question was deemed too edgy, I'de agree with you. Since none of that was the case, I can't agree at all. If you know the whole story, his treatment was justified and followed the law.
