Eric Burdon had a strong voice and they did some great songs. Wish someone could get their Mama Told Me Not to Come--it was the BEST cover of that song. Thanks for posting this!

Yeah right the classics are better than AC/DC. I would rather listen to listen to this song for a month straight than AC/DC. Man, I would listen to some wierd song than ac/dc. They're good but i dont like them anymore.

You have to remember people that this song comes from an era when everything rock and roll was just beginning. Am, C, D, F, C, & E-everyone wanted to play those chords and impress the chicks at the junior high dance. A classic from a bygone era...5string

While I like Brian Johnson and AC/DC, and they're better than the Animals overall, I can't think of anyone who could have done House of the Rising Sun better than the Animals, this song is amazing.
