No, it's an AF-S model which means it'll autofocus on all Nikon bodies including the D40, D40x and D60.

Hi! I think you are wrong on autofocus. While its manual with D60... isnt it?

Yep, it's an AF-S model which means it'll autofocus on all Nikon bodies. Any other Qs, feel free to have a chat on the cameralabs . com forums!

hey man, very awesome video, just one quick question, I know this works on all Nikon DSLRS, but this was posted a year ago before the D60, so I'm guessing this works for the Nikon D60 as well, including the auto-focus?

The aperture is a little slow for low light photography, but the optics are good.

I want this lens so bad :( BUT MONEY DOS'NT GROW ON TREES :(((((((((
taekwondodrum (August 23, 2008 at 11:27 pm)
It comes with a lens hodod.
1party0man1 (August 11, 2008 at 11:17 pm)
Does this lens come with a hood? Or can I somehow get a hold of a hood able to fit over the end?
cameralabs (August 9, 2008 at 10:41 pm)
Depends what you want! The 18-200mm is a great all-round single lens, but the 70-300mm is designed to complement an existing lens like an 18-55mm or an 18-70mm. I can't spend much time replying here, so feel free to ask any Qs on the cameralabs forums...
