Also; they have 50 shows and I doubt they would have been able to get it cleared (and I assume the cost would have been ridiculous lol). Do you know about his Tierre de Tigre news btw?

It would have sounded extremely out of place in the show. Its a real 'moment' song & deserves rapt attention. Theres too much screaming going on when JCs onstage, that would only cheapen the song. Itll be awesome when he tours solo or in a recording studio but not now. Hes really in tune with his musical style. Crazy shows off his vocals power, Daydream highlights his falsetto, phrasing & creates the perfect mellow carefree ambience & OTR is stunning. Hallelujah would disturb his set flow imo.

thanks for the response bluesrunnerdog. I'm not from the US but been watching Idol since season 3, I think. Jason is one of the best things to happen on Idol and his rendition of Hallelujah is rather phenomenal. :)

I think each person can sing 3 songs, so he has to make his decision for his choice. We wish he sing "Hallelujah " also but then he has to have couple up beat songs to go with "Somewhere Over The Rainbow ", I think! But the concert in St.Lois, he sure has a huge numbers of fans there!
