Create HL2 character using XSI THE Collada aggregator Part 2

Use the Softimage|XSI Valve plugins to rig and export the character. Compile the texture and the model using the Source SDK tools. Preview the character in the Source SDK Model Viewer. Replace the Half-Life 2 Police with the new character. Play Half-Life 2 and see the new character in-game.

Nice video. What version of XSI are you using? I'm using the latest version, and when I export then compile my model and open it in HLMV, the legs and hips are rotated 90 degrees from the rest of the body.

so why does my ragdoll behave like a rock once i compile it: ( i mean i rigged it ok in xsi =(( and y is the physics thing under it and i go throu the ragdoll as if i was in noclip =O

Where can i get the .txt file for new character? is it automatically created? Is there any text + pics tutorials about same subject? Can you help me how to include new npc into my mod? i got models & textures compiled but i need that .txt file and add it somewhere to get this shit working
