@1aMattes your comparing this to cameras that cost hundreds of thousands of pounds/dollars/whatever your currency is, this is a amazing camera, only con is the zoom noise.

@jotape1960 First of all, grats for buying this camera, i got it too^^ I can highly recommend it.
It is real HD video but of course its nothing compared with original HD TV movies on TV. In the end this camera is made for stillpictures and it has a really nice videofunction. Never buy such cams if you mainly want to make vids!

I have one and I'm so happy with the photos at 1600x1200, 1920x1080 and 2048x1536.
I don't like the results with the other resolutions.
About HD Video, I wonder if it is a real HD Video (I mean 1280x720 real pixels). It's because when I see it at half of the original size (640x360), I can see all so clear, but not at full size.
Some idea about it?

I bought this camera, i'm not a pro, its cool for me as a point-and-shoot solution, and the video zoom its great! :-)
