histerics-were those workers you were playing for legal. If not, you should have been calling ICE. IT IS A FEDERAL CRIME TO ENTER OUR COUNTRY ILLEGALLY. You are aiding criminals when you harbor and shelter illegals. If they want to come here LEGALLY they are welcome to work where ever they want. If the are ILLEGAL they legally cannot join a union. US citizens have difficult jobs, families to support and are living in desperation. Charity has to start at home. Our citizens should come FIRST.

histerics-If every German you've spoken to speaks English then you've never been to Germany where you better learn to speak German if you plan to live there. There is nothing about this song that is narrow minded. The words welcome those who come. Share in the liberties and freedoms of this country but the least you can do is speak the language over 92% of our citizens speak. No one is asking them to give up their culture or their language. You are the one with the narrow viewpoint.

hcd2005-They've come to our country to live a prosperous life. So why aren't they anxious to go to the FREE classes offered to learn our language. No one is offering U.S. citizens FREE classes. How nice of us to offer help teaching them our lang. Most, however, do not take advantage of it. They would rather we accommodate them. We too are hard working citizens struggling to make ends meet and we don't have time to learn another language. When they chose to come here they knew we spoke English.

guisutdeus0-I don't care who they voted for. I do care that our 911, EMT, Medical Personnel and school systems are hindered by the inability to communicate with those in need. Our schools struggling to educate with 1/3 to 1/2 of the class communicating in another language. Their parents don't speak English at home and they are holding back others because of the lack of a unified language. There are other problems with this issue too, these are just a few. It is not about hate, it is about unity

When you go to another country do they have press 2 for english? I don't think so. If you don"t know their language your pretty much screwed. If they don't want to speak english that is their business but we should not have to press any number for another language which i believe is only spanish, what happened to the other languages their should be other buttons to press in that case for the other people that don't speak either english or spanish it should not be one sided than.

nice song! but... don't forget that having the chance to learn another language is a plus now days, specially if you want to live a prosperous life.
Opening branches to attend other cultures give us the opportunity to increase revenue.
Use your talent to bring people together.

WHAT A BUNCH OF TOOLS; THEY PROBABLY VOTE FOR BUSH.. BOTH TIMES.. AND FOR HIS FATHER SATAN BACK IN THE 90s.
The language of this land was originally indigenous native; then it was Spanish; then it was French and English; and if things keep going the way they are, it will be sheepish.
