I remember worrying over what would happen to MS when this decision came down. When Bush was elected later that year I could see the writing on the wall. Though I voted for Gore I was happy MS would not be radically broken apart.
Did anything much come from all this litigation? The 800 lb gorilla was already too entrenched. One platform is actually good for the PC, IMHO. We could do a lot worse than MS at the helm.

ZDTV had some great moments, but a lot of their news bits were really boring. This is an example of the boring stuff.
