Mcafee may not be the best in terms of firewall or antivirus... but I can tell you from experience that even the best commercial antivirus program and firewall is no match for a truly nefarious site. The key is to not go to the site to begin with and this is a step in the right direction.

I've tried most security suites... kaspersky, panda, zonealarm, bitdefender, norton, and I think this feature makes this suite stand out. Get the version of mcafee that comes with the full version of siteadvisor. As yeah, the full version not only hightlights the flagged sites, but doesn't allow you to go to them, when in protected mode (via a password lock). Great for preventing kids from using google and unkowingly going to flagged sites.

I have now deleted mcafee awhile ago and got avast avg kaspersky nod32 norton ad-aware and I had tuns of viruses, the siteadvisor is horrible. I found over 8 downloads that mcafee site advisor said was clean but was virus infected
