On the album, that live recording, he keeps talking about old Mr McCain, and I've worked the sound fast and slow. It's really eerie to hear that during this election, about Mr McCain got the blues, but friends of that era say cocaine was called Mr McCain in the street those days.... I could be wrong but, I don't think so.

Yes very true, he never does it the same way twice. I still like to think he says cain though. You should see some of his more modern renderings, the song has evolved quite a bit.
