I think they said the great spirit. But I think you're right, I watched an episode from the 2nd season where they discuss the trinity and the holy spirit/ghost while Larry was there (think it's called "the cheap meal" or something).

Yeah but in the conventions episode, Larry says the dems invited the holy spirit, not that they invited him.

But in the superbowl episode they're "the Deity, the boy, and Larry". And when Jesus is introduced he's offered 1/3 vote. Sounds like they're a trinity. Who says the Holy Spirit can't be God's personal assistant?
