Fat back and greasy,that back beat with Bobby Timmons two hand comping truly drives the tune.Great solo by Lee Morgan!Benny Golson comes in and takes his solo some were else.Nice contrast.Bobby Timmons goes Church,this along with the great Dat Dere were Bobby most famous tunes.Check out some of his trio dates on Riverside this was only one side of Bobby.

Lee Morgan and Benny Golson solos are very close to their solos from the other version!

Colonel Chase (swt32567) is who my comments are directed to. I especially like the lyrics which Jon Hendricks provided for this Bobby Timmons classic although this instrumental version is still my favorite.

I'm a native Washingtonian, now residing in North Carolina, and am much saddened by the loss of your FM jazz outlet. We are most fortunate to have a very fine jazz outlet here in Raleigh - WSHA-FM (a college owned. radio station). I do feel, however, that Hip-Hop will stand the test of time and I'm a true jazz aficionado from way back.

it is true that jazz is great and artistic but that doesn't mean hip hop and pop are slop and crap. what do you think people in churches in 1800s would say to jazz
