The world is a better place because of Brian Wilson. I have met him with my kids and he is a kind person as well as the greatest composer of our day. To appreciate his gift you must understand music. I have learned to appreciate his talent as I grew older. I hope he continues to write and perform.

"Good Vibrations" was earth shattering...truly a masterpiece. Brain deserves the credit for the Beach Boys' success. Lennon and McCartney (mostly the two) carried the weight of the Beatles' success. Brian did much of it alone. I can see why he fractured. God bless Brian.

I'm assuming that this interview was taken on 11/29/05 because Charlie Rose mentions in the beginning about a governor he interviewed "the night before" (which was 11/28/05.) <--- it's at 0:00:31
