The size difference is partly because of what the hardware can actually do, the 5310 is a normal phone whereas the 5700 is a smartphone.

The 5700 is a smartphone, the 5310 is just a normal "dumb" phone. That means you can do a lot more with the 5700 if you install the right applications.
If you just want a music phone though, get the 5310.

No, this isn't slow at all.
Smartphones have got a LOT faster since the days of the 6630. And the latest models (such as the 5320 or N85) are instant response in most apps.

very very nice. this what i've been looking for. how come i dont see this phone very often now? the express music i always see is the 5300 and the 5310. Anyway, which is better, 5700 or the 5310? Wait, i'll just watch your reviews. Thnks man.

Personally I would choose the 6120 because it's much smaller and lighter.
The 5700 has some advantages too though, it has a bigger screen, dedicated music controls and you can tilt the camera in any direction.
However, they're basically the same phone inside. The price depends on where you buy them, but the 5700 is usually a bit more expensive.
