I have to disagree there mate. I've driven this car and there is absolutely no lag from 1000rpm up. I've driven lots of turbos and not are like this.

i can't believe people are still using superchargers on sweet motors like ls series.
turbo/'s are a far more efficient and cost efective way of forced induction on these peaky v8's.supercharging has more lag than a similar matched turbo system. fact!

Its an HSV Commodore. The Pontiac GTO is based on the lower spec SS commodore.
