does this break the actual lock itself after it's "bumped"?? ...cause i came home from the movies the other night and my key just spun around in the lock... wondering if it could have been broken due to this technique?

Yeah, the number of bumps needs to match the number of pins.

i think its posabule but you shuled have same number of bumps as pins in the lock you bumping

Think about it, once you've used the bump key you can go inside the house (Whatever you're entering) and lock it from inside! So why would you worry about having to lock it with your bump key?? Opening is hard, closing is simple.
