yeah they are all the same. the gold stuff is copper or brass that is woven into the wick to make it a bit stronger i think. after you use it a fair bit it will turn black, then it wont burn so well eventually. thats when you should pull some more wick through and cut the black bit off. but only when it doesnt burn very well |
