Two of the best ones out are Vesperia and Abyss gameplay wise. Once ToS 2 comes out, the Tales series will probably lean more Nintendo considering how popular Symphonia was.

I bought one used for $7.50, not really knowing what the Tales Series was at the time, nor how good of a find it was. It was Symphonia that got me hooked on the Tales Series.

You know, I didn't really care for Tales of Legendia as a game, but I did feel that the musical performance was pretty good. The songs sort of felt refreshing like a crisp ocean breeze, the atmosphere of the game. Of course I prefer the normal compositions for Tales games, but it was unique and the music sort of felt special in its own way.
