you are right in that the way he raps now only appeals to a few but thats the people that he is reaching out and relating to in his music and if u cant understand the things he is talking about in his music then its not for u u wouldnt go out and by a country ablum if u wanted to listen to rap so y listen to gangsta rap or wutever when u want to hear educated rap u seek the artist that is doing it like a twalib or something

Listening to plies album you would think he's just another ignorant goon, but he's actually very well spoken. If I didnt see his face on here and just heard the voice I wouldnt even know it was him.

I just wish his intelligence would carry on to his rap. I don't like the persona he puts on during while rapping. He'll be a lot more accepted if his style was easier to take in. the way he raps now only appeals to a few.

I was never really feelin plies on the music side, but i can respect what he is saying here. i wish this same tone would carry over to his music, but hey man do what ya do! |
