i got myself a 15" dell monitor but it has a power supply inside of it. is that bad if i want to make a projector out of it? and when i disassembled it to only the lcd panel and these two circuit boards there seems to be a problem... if you or anyone could help me with this would be very nice. i should take some pictures of my monitor.

I'm always amazed at how someone is able to not only do this, but figure out how to do it.

*face palm*
if you put your lcd and lay it on the overhead, the light isnt going to go through the plastic. this is why you need to disasemble it and use the transparent lcd.

He's just disassembled a monitor! You don't have the slightest inkling that he IS a nerd???

I wonder if you put a black cloth wrapping around the screen up to the bottom part of the top of the projector the quality might be become better, or white. they would be more concentrated...
