i had the same problem with my scar, try filling the mag to capacity then winding the mag all the way, sounds simple but it worked for me.

well i bet the problem is that you have a plastic gear box and your gears are stripped. this can happen to metal gearboxes also . what gun do you have?

This SCAR replica sucks. Save up some more and buy the Dboys one or the Echo 1 version.

My scar is messed up, Im somewhat new to airsoft so Im not too sure exactly what it is, but it just sounds like my gears are spinning and is not shooting at all! msg me plz HELP! SOS!

After having purchased a VFC Scar, it is apparent to me that the chinese clone has more than a few aesthetic differences. Compare it to the real steel, and then the VFC scar.
