I never get tired of this video. I watch it at least 2 times a week. I am an umpire for Babe Ruth and Cal ripken baseball and have done many regional and state games. I have never had a coach do this far, but all of this over a balk, which, the rulebook says is not arguable. It is an automatic ejection. Earl was just being Earl. Great video!!!!

Bill Haller was a very good umpire in his day! He umpired in the AL from 1963-1982. He worked W.S in 68,72,78,82 and was one of the last to wear outside cheast protectors. Haller was considered an "umpires umpire" according to fellow ump Dave Phillips. After retirement he served as an assistant supervisor of AL umps from 1983-1985, but was fired, he believes, because of his refusal to work a game during the 1984 umpires strik.

Also, this is the second game of the doubleheader. He got thrown out of the first one too hahahaha. Also, Ron Luciano threw him out one time when the Umps and the managers were exchanging the lineup cards hahaha.
