Depend if the game is compatible with region Free software. Some games still don't works because of a different video chip between the pal & NTSC wii system.
After, there's a lot of websites how can tell you if your game is compatible with Gecko. Try GOOGLE, it works too ;)

hey i have gecko os on my pal wii & it works on my NTSC brawl (yay hehe)& i am wondering that if it works on jap games (planning to buy tatsunoko vs capcom, who doesnt know that game? lol)
so i might import it soon so do u think it will work? plz reply any1 thaxs

Eyeshield 21 on wii exists only in japanese version. As the game is in NTSC, if the TV supports NTSC, the game will be in color. Some older TV don't support NTSC and so the NTSC games are in B&W.
For info you only need the Gecko file (1.07, now). The others were here only to try other options ...

Well actually its a US Game. But it will still run in Colour right(I saw another vid of this and the game was in black and white)?
If i do what you do it should work in colour right? Sorry to bother you again.

You need only GeckoOS and of course the game.
You have to go on the configuration menu to desactivate the OCARINA tool (a kind of Action Replay thing), and after you put your japanese game inside the Wii console, and click on "LANCH GAME" -

I've installed the Homebrew on my Wii and have the Gecko file too. Now i just need to buy the game right? Do you need the other files you had on the Homebrew Channel?
