The winder is hard to turn, which is why I figured out that I was having problems. I tried doing what you said, but it didn't work. It worked for two or three revolutions, but then got hard to turn again. :/

If you've come to a black bar (or other markings),keep winding. Go slow. When you come up on the frame numbers, they will be upside down. Don't worry, that's how they're supposed to be.

I don't think I wound past 11 frames. I didn't wind very far untill I came to the 1 and 2. I noticed on the video that you pass a thick black bar before stopping. I've come to the black bar; that isn't the one right?

Hmmm, sounds like you wound past the first 11 frames, because I think that 1 and 2 were the 12. What you should see with the Kodak film are the arrows, maybe some other markings, then a thin line of type and then immediately after, the frame number. When you take a photo and wind to the next photo, it should only be 2 or 3 complete revolutions of the winder knob. The number come up fast between frames, so wind slowly.

Is the winder hard to turn when advancing the film? I was having similar problems. Slide the back on carefully, with 1 finger on the take up spool to help keep it aligned. Also putting a little lit of slack in the film so that the film isn't pulling the takeup spool out of position also helps.

I think I'm using the same roll of film as you, which is Kodak. I was using the 16 shots, so in the red window was those black bars, then once those were gone I was a small 1 and 2 next to eachother. I didn't think it was ready yet so I rolled it more and I see a 15. should I keep going?

Okay, so I'm working with BW, black backed paper, and I'm having trouble. Your video was a godsend, but I'm having trouble keeping the film from getting smashed up on the bottom and, the holes between the bottom of the film reel and the camera back, are continually coming off, while the camera back is on... Any tips?

You can buy 120 film at any Professional Photographers Supply store. If you can't find one near you, buy it online from places like Freestyle Photo Supply or BH Photo Video. They have really good prices.
