not too much. Costco is selling bikes with it installed for under $500! It is becomming the rage in Europe. I heard it is standard on over 50 models!

Your right... But they couldn't get it to work without some help. This version of a CVT is expandible to any size any aplication.

but the cvt in the nissans aren't really powered by this design
its a pulley system that can change the radius of the pulley cones

The same developers on this helped Nissan on thier CVT in thier cars. Think bigger then cars and Bikes.

On my bike you would have to loosen four screws to change the tire.
That's one screw more than on my 7-gear Nexus with coaster brake.

The Cadillac Fleetwood Cruiser bicycles with the NuVinci Shifter are going for FIVE Hundred Dollars and some change, these days. Check it out, its definitely a sweet looking bicycle. |
