The backing does indeed sound note perfect compared to the studio version, so it's probably a backing tape (are they allowed to do this nowadays in the ESC?). All the vocals seem live though and actually sound a bit going-through-the-motions (don't know if it's the mix doing that).
I love this song, though look for "Ding-A-Dong Dutch" for an even better Dutch version (yes, it's even *more* phonetically nonsensical if you can believe that!), which I think they should have sung in the final.
