I thought the 'sucking things in' was a bad way to picture black holes they only suck in what's in their.......whats it called.....those accretion disks? or w/e they're called.....

Jeseeu I would suggest you visit lhcfacts org You may change your mind Also try lhc defense org Many physicists are opposed to the LHC. Hawkings theory, on which all the CERN safety is based, is only a theory, never tested or seen in real life. I think Einstein's theories are more accurate. CERN does not deny black holes will be created and figures now being quoted are one per second. Educate yourself before you believe one way or the other. Ignorance is bliss isn't it?

Very cute how Phd in Neuropsychology affirms stuff about astrophysics.. HELLO there!!! a Phd doesnt give you the truth in all the sciences!!.. ¬¬.. "What CERN & the Hadron Collider Can Do For You!" /... dear sir.. you are a person guied by myths and fear.. those reactions and events cern would atempt to do.. happend ALL THE TIME billions of time per nanosecond in the sun.. tell me how many black holes have you seen near by the sun?.. thank you.

hope nothing goes wrong in LHC i don't mean strangelets and black holes i don't belive in that anymore :D but steel if that explodes....hm...no one knows what happens with smth in Black Holes maybe you go in a other place,maybe you don't die :) i don't wana find out but dunno :D

so by the time we get to the black hole which u said it would take 8trillion years our sun will have become a red dwarf trillions of years before we get there and earth would have been dead trillions of years before we could have get there lol do you get what im saying?
