"The new line of Radeon HD 3800 series video cards are currently available in two models; the 3870 and 3850. These are next-gen products but the 3870 has faster memory and core speeds and comes with 512MB of GDDR4 memory as opposed to 256MB of GDDR3 memory on the 3850 model. The core speed on this product is 775MHz and the 512MBs of GDDR4 256 bit memory is 2.25GHz DDR. It comes with 320 stream processing units for vertex, pixel and geometry data, 16 texture units, 16 raster operators, the pixel fill rate is approx. 12400 MPixels/sec and the memory bandwidth is 72GB/s. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end." ~3dGameMan.com

It seems like you've been ripped off, 3DGameMan. The package is meant to come with a 6-pin to 4-pin Molex adapter, which you did not seem to have in this video.....but nonetheless it's a smashing card! =D

Actually your the only one who "noes" that the 4870X2 supports crossfire. You're such a n00b. Get some spelling lessons.

You can buy one of these by Sapphire on Newegg right now for 75.05 open box. I want one.

I`m using the 500w power supply now, but not having crossfire yet. Works great:)

computenator.. i was talking bout the 4870X2... see that knumbsull saying 4870X2 CrossfireX anyone?? everyone noes that 4870X2 dosent support crossfireX
Computenator (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Skaugraut, if you not using 2 of them in crossfire then with one, you will only need about 500w power supply (450 minimum)... hope that answers ur question.
Computenator (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
3870 does support crossfire, but there are only like 1 or 2 motherboards on the market that have 4 PCI-E x16 slots...
