Just a still frame, no video. I've had quite a few requests for this so I decided not to be lazy and to upload it. I haven't heard any other recordings of this highly under rated piece so as far as i'm concerned, this is a definitive interpretation. This is the first movement, the second and third movements can be listened to at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v... and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v... By the way, in case some of you guys didn't know, this piece was not actually written by Handel. It was written by french violist/ violist d'amore Henri Casadesus in the style of Handel. He forged the piece under Handel's name and then later admitted to having written it in a court dispute.

For people complaining about the tempo, I believe he did it faster because back then they were using 78rpm records that could only hold a couple of minutes.

I included that bit of info in the description when I first posted this video, but thanks for informing everyone who didn't read it lol

About the title: It's believed that Casadesus wrote this piece, but realizing that his work wouldn't be taken seriously, put Handel's name on it to make it a success. He's done this on other pieces as well, so the next time you see the author as Handel/Casadesus, it's not that they wrote it together, but rather that Casadesus used Handel's name. I recently played this without harmony for a state audition which I was admitted. One of my favorite pieces for sure.
