You have really been a great help man, thanks alot...people dont really take the time these days to help other. *hi five! ive decided ill just buy a new drive...lol, maybe some ram too
ShitSmear69 (September 15, 2008 at 11:50 pm)
well, that's bad news man. there are a few products out there that you can buy, which will remove the password. if you don't want to spend the money on one, i would suggest getting yourself a new hard drive. remember that you have a laptop when you ask for one. your hard drive is very small compared to a desktop hard drive. make sure you get the right one. if you have info on this hard drive that you need i would suggest getting one of these products that removes the password.google hdd password

try putting the disk for windows Xp in there, or linux, something... just some operating system disk and see if it will let you install the operating system on it.

well until now, its been about 3 months that the battery has been out lol...but still doesnt work....i know there must be a way, either by shorting one of the IC's or something...the memory has to be kept somehwere...if u can help wit anything plz let me know...i can even send u an HQ pic of the mother board if you like thanks
ShitSmear69 (September 5, 2008 at 5:19 pm)
some motherboards have the switch and some motherboards don't. mine doesn't have one. my old motherboard had one. it just depends. what happened when you took the battery out and put it back in? did you leave the battery out for at least 10 seconds?
wishyoucouldbeme0405 (September 5, 2008 at 6:05 am)
Well, i have taken it apart(what a mission it was) removoved the battery...nothing...its been out for a month...i heard something about jumpers, where u can use that to reset it...its almost like a switch i think...havent seen it though
ShitSmear69 (September 5, 2008 at 2:01 am)
if you don't know that password you need to take that fucker apart and reset that. just take out the battery and put it back in. i've never taken apart a lapton before and therefore i can't tell you how to do it. but i will tell you that you are screwed if you don't open that thing up and reset that BIOS. you can't boot into your operating system
