I just wish they would use proper lyrics then i could turn their songs up louder in my car. Musically they are fantastic, except "Biology 2" I know they didn't write it but did they have to put it on the album!

not since 80s king crimson has anyone made a trio of lps so perfect they should use them in music schools around the world to educate young people to what real pop rock should sound like lil beetoven, hello young lovers, exotic creatures of the deep please look these up and save your ears today and the other 18 albums too!

Sparks are awsome, and this album and it's follow up are the best things they've done, although I love their 70's glam rock stuff as well. The voice samples are essensial for this album. I strongliy disagree with you who don't like them. They add an awsome surreal and ironic twist to the music. I can't imagine Lil' Beethoven without them.

Surely you know this. America is a result of British Imperialism. George Sr. was knighted. Putting politics aside. American pop is like a disposable razor. It's okay a few times and then it's not sharp any more. Sparks music gets SHARPER with age. Like Monty Python gets FUNNIER with age. queen = douche bag. OOPS

Sparks never could be defined as a "rock band", even though many fans prefer their more guitar heavy 1972-1976 period. The quality of their music and lyrics slipped after "Big Beat", and I wish they had never met Giorgio (?) Moroder. But "Lil Beethoven" is the first Sparks album I've bought since "Whomp That Sucker", and it is the most creative album of theirs' in some time.
