Check matti's ratings. I'd say they're pretty much the way the films are in actuality. And the great thing is that it emphasises CHARACTER over the action.

when this movie came out in 2004,i thought it was a ripoff just to make a quick buck,but after seeying the dark knight i decide it to give her a chance.
i OMFG this movie was better then great,the characters,the plot,the incredible suspense (cris nolan is a master of suspense,also direct memento and the prestige)one of the best comic book movies ever made(after sin city,300 and the dark knight)
in my opinion this movie is better then tim burton films,its less dense and with much more suspense

obviously a redone scene that was not used in the final cut of the film. In the final film version, Batman wasn't standing, he was kneeling down.
