0:32 = Pause so that he could go type stuff in the console and create portals then come back and make it look like he didn't. Clever I didn't catch it at first.

The companion cube is in a different level, creating a portal under it would be nonsense because the portal wouldn't stay on mapchange. He created a weighted cube ("ent_create_portal_weight_box" in console) and changed its skin to the companion cube skin ("ent_fire !picker skin 1"). What he did: Walk into the room, shoot at the door, stop the video, create companion cube, place it out of sight above blue portal, look at the same point as before, continue video, create orange portal. Rest noclip.

el o el, its not an easter egg. he made a blue portal at the end (got there with noclip) where the cube was (no orange portal so no go through) and then when he shoots the orange one at the roof in the beginning it pops out. zomg!
then it cuts to him in the ramps (he got there, again, with noclip), it wasn't a fade in, it was a cut. thar's you're explanation. |
